Hurlston received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering, in addition to an M.B.A. from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management (GSM).

Hope Bovenzi, B.S., electrical engineering, ’12, is one of eight UC Davis alumni to receive a 2020 UC Davis Alumni Award for her accomplishments thus far.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering would like to congratulate its awardees on their having been recognized in the recent 2019 Award Ceremony.

The Fast Red Car -- a UC Davis team consisting of Daniel Burr, William Gentry and Jimmy Hoang -- narrowly defeated No Compromise.

The award recognizes his extraordinary dedication to undergraduate education.

The upcoming NATCAR competition is Saturday, May 11, and will invite schools from all over California.

Through their experience as team members, they cultivate not only hard skills building an on-hand personal project, but soft skills, such as leadership and efficient communication, necessary for working in future design teams.

This year, the ECE Department presented the Distinguished Alumni Award to Professor Constance “Connie” Chang-Hasnain (BS, ’82).
