The Accelerated, Secure, and Energy-Efficient Computing (ASEEC) Lab and NSF IUCRC CHEST Center at UC Davis is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI systems.

ASEEC conducts research in applied machine learning across health, security, and computer system design, translating advanced AI research into real-world systems.

This position is affiliated with the NSF IUCRC CHEST Center, a National Science Foundation–supported research consortium funded by more than 20 leading technology companies.

Research Areas

  • Agentic AI & multi-agent systems
  • LLM evaluation, alignment, and benchmarking
  • RAG, fine-tuning, and scalable AI systems

Requirements

  • PhD in CS, EE, or related field
  • Strong background in AI/ML
  • Expertise in LLMs, transformers, and generative AI
