Biography: Danjue Li, M.S. '03, Ph.D. '07

Li, who was the first in her family to go to college, came to UC Davis in 2001, having immigrated from China, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.

Biography: Charles C. Nichols, B.S. '83, M.S '84

Charles Chuck Nichols is a longtime leader of California agriculture and the president of Nichols Farms, one of the largest family-owned pistachio growing, processing and marketing companies in the state.

Biography: Michael P. Coffey, B.S. '84

Michael Coffey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Davis, in 1984 and a master's degree in management from Golden Gate University before going on to a nearly 40-year career.

Biography: Vincent Li, B.S. '15, M.S. '16

Vincent Li earned his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2016, where his graduate research focused on RF device fabrication, molecular sensor engineering, and statistical modeling of nanoscale systems.

Biography: Tracy Liu, M.S. '07, Ph.D. '10

Tracy Liu serves as the director of network analytics and automation for AT&T Labs, practicing the principles of mentorship and advocacy she learned from her advisor in her day-to-day.

Biography: Stephen Henderson, B.S. '11

Professor Henderson’s work broadly engages with the substantive criminal law, the regulation of policing, and our systems of criminal adjudication, including the intersections of those fields with modern technologies—he was, many moons ago, awarded the College of Engineering Medal for most outstanding graduate at the University of California, Davis, and in 2024 he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from their Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
