Professor Jeremy Munday has received the 2020 DARPA Director's Fellowship Award. This award is given to faculty early in their careers such that they may develop their research ideas in the context of national security needs, and is only given to top performers of the already very selective DARPA Young Faculty Award recipients. In 2018, Professor Munday received one of twenty-five DARPA Young Faculty Awards.
On February 12th, 2020, PhD Student, Nguyen L.K. Nguyen was among the few graduate students around the world, who were awarded the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Graduate Fellowship 2020 and will be honored at the 2020 International Microwave Symposium in June 2020 in Los Angeles.
Hope Bovenzi, B.S., electrical engineering, ’12, is one of eight UC Davis alumni to receive a 2020 UC Davis Alumni Award for her accomplishments thus far.
This distinction rewards Prof. Amirtharajah’s contributions to the field of electronics design and engineering, particularly for developing integrated circuits and embedded systems that harvest energy from the environment.
