Bio

Allison serves as an administrative coordinator and project manager for the National Science Foundation’s ExLENT (Experiential Learning for Emerging and Novel Technologies) project. Allison is responsible for developing and implementing educational and outreach materials and activities, and for creating and managing specialized workforce development and training programs aimed at undergraduate students, community college students, and K-12 educators.

A key aspect of Allison's work includes coordinating experiential learning opportunities in classrooms, UC Davis and partner laboratories, as well as the student design center (ESDC) and microfabrication facility (CNM2). This involves organizing field days, workshops, and short courses to provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences for students and educators.
