Power amplifiers and integrated circuits, antennas, radar and sensors, and energy harvesting.

Dr. Pham is conducting research in RF to THz hybrid and integrated circuits, especially power amplifiers, antennas, radar and sensors, and energy harvesting systems. His group's interests are to improve linearity, efficiency and bandwidth of wireless, wireline and instrumentation power amplifiers. His group is currently developing ultra-wideband (UWB) software-defined radar and millimeter-wave radar and sensors. His interests are to develop new capabilities for enhanced detection, imaging, and sensing modalities. In addition, his group is developing power-over-distance wireless charging technology to deliver DC supply power to sensors and electronic systems in shielded and unshielded environments.
