V. Ralph Algazi

Professor Algazi is an emeritus research professor who is interested in multimedia signal processing for images, video sound and speech, and in the human-interface in man-machine systems. Current projects include image processing and coding based on image analysis and on properties of human perception; 3D sound perception, modeling and simulation; and customized 3D spatial hearing modeling and approximation for high-quality spatial sound simulation.
