Vanessa and Victoria Liera are first-generation college students that developed their interest in STEM dating back to a robotics class in middle school. This interest has led them to UC Davis, where they will graduate with electrical engineering degrees in 2022. As undergraduates, they realized quickly that there is a need to connect and retain women in engineering majors.
