Professor Houman Homayoun and his team from UC Davis, along with Professor Sai Manoj’s team from George Mason University developed an online application to better visualize and monitor the current COVID19 pandemic in response to public policy guidelines and restrictions. The developed online application not only helps the user better visualize and monitor the pandemic data and understand various statistics per county in the country, but its AI based model answers key "what if” public policy questions such as: what if we were using mask, strict social distancing or earlier contact tracing. The beta version of the app is available online, and the team is continuously working to improve the AI model for better prediction and analytics.
