Prof. Marina Radulaski Awarded a Molecular Foundry Project for Quantum Technologies
Prof. Marina Radulaski has been awarded a year-long use of nanofabrication facilities at the Molecular Foundry for the project entitled Quantum Light Source with an Efficient Nanophotonic Fiber Interface.
The project is a collaboration with Prof. S. J. Ben Yoo on the development of an efficient quantum communication system. Two UC Davis ECE graduate students, Sridhar Majety and Yi-Chun Ling, and a postdoctoral scholar, Semih Cakmakyapan, will work closely to develop a multi-layer nanofabrication process integrating color centers in silicon carbide with amorphous silicon metalens.
The Molecular Foundry is a Department of Energy-funded nanoscience research facility that provides users from around the world with access to cutting-edge expertise and instrumentation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
